Even when we know gratitude is good for us, expressing it can be tough. We get busy, feel awkward saying thank you, or simply forget to pause and notice. But gratitude is like a muscle—the more we use it, the stronger it gets.
When we take time to notice what’s going well, we feel calmer, sleep better, and approach life with a clearer mind. Gratitude doesn’t erase challenges, but it helps us handle them with greater patience and strength—the way a Black Belt handles a tough round of training.
